David Miller, an architect, established Rollamatic Roofs, Inc. in the 1950s after constructing a fully automatic retractable roof for a center courtyard home he designed in Diamond Heights, San Francisco. The company remains family-run and dedicated to art and architecture over 60 years later. To date, we have installed more than 2,400 retractable roofs worldwide.

For years, we've only done one thing and continue to keep it simple: design and construct retractable roof systems. Even though we have thousands of satisfied customers, we still get excited about making each project unique. The results are stunning when you add natural light or turn an open atrium into a year-round living space with our product.
