Business Description
I am a psychodynamic therapist registered with the British Psychoanalytic Council (BPC) and the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP). I see individuals privately in Fitzrovia in Central London.Prior to working privately, I worked for five years in the voluntary sector, providing long-term therapy to individuals with histories of addiction and early developmental trauma. This gave me an understanding of the extent to which adverse early experiences can impact behaviour and psychological functioning in adulthood. Since then, I have undertaken post-qualifying training in trauma therapy and the treatment of trauma-related dissociation. I am now in the process of completing post-qualifying training in psycho***** therapy.
I have a particular clinical and theoretical interest in states of depersonalisation, derealisation and feelings of disconnection. My thinking and work around these difficulties is influenced by object relations approaches and relational psychoanalysis. I keep up to date with relevant research in these areas.
