This success laid the foundation for our company, renowned for its engineering and manufacturing excellence and diversity. Our journey began over 50 years ago when our founder, the late Mr. H.K. Firodia, recognized the need for affordable transportation for the common man in India. He entrusted his son, our Chairman, Padmashri Dr. Arun Firodia, with a bold vision: With an initial capital of Rs. 15 Lakhs, the goal was to produce a moped entirely in India, using only Indian machinery. It had to weigh less than 50 kg and cost no more than Rs. 2000. Thus, Kinetic Engineering Limited was established in our hometown of Ahmednagar, marking the city's first major industrial venture. Spanning 50 acres (521,000 square meters) with 26 manufacturing sheds, our company stands on the pillars of innovation, nationalism, engineering prowess, manufacturing excellence, cost efficiency, quality, and diversity."
